# Android System Operation Steps ** 

1. Insert the product into the OBD interface of the car.
2. Turn ignition to Key On Engine Off Position
3. Turn on Bluetooth on the phone.
4. NOTE: Search for the device name “vLinker BM” or “vLinker BM-Android”and click Pair. Attention(For Android system)!! Do not pair vLinker BM+ or “vLinker BM-IOS”
5. Enter the pairing code: 1234 . If the pairing is successful, you can open the APP to set up the connection.

# iOS System Operation Steps ** 

1. Plug the product into the OBD2 interface of the car.
2. Turn ignition to Key On Engine Off Position
3. Turn on Bluetooth on the phone.
4. No need to configure Bluetooth device name in the phone. Just enable Bluetooth button on the iOS device and continue to the OBD app setting.

The CEL goes off when you unplug it from the car.Pros: The device paired easily with both the BimmerLink and BimmerCode apps, both work with Minis. Beware, this model only works with PC or Android, you have to pay more for the iPhone compatible model, I have a Pixel 6 phone so it connects right away.

6. I’ve been wanting to address a few minor annoyances with my wife’s 2016 BMW 328i (F30). Specifically, the audio stays on when the car is off and doors are opened and not having full Enhanced Bluetooth functionality.
