How to Virgin ME2.8 ECU ?

Prepare :
You will need CGDI MB Prog and SD C4 Mux with DAS,if you have not them interface ,you can buy from this link.

ME 2.8 ECUs are used in many older Mercedes models with M112/3 engines ,When your ECU is damaged, You need to renew it(virgin)then code it by DAS or Vediamo programmer.

Part 1: Renew ME 2.8 with CGDI MB PROG

Remove ME 2.8 ECU from MB (i.e a W203)
Follow wiring diagram to connect Bosch ME 2.8 ECU with CGDI MB

Run CGDI MB software,select”Auto Computer” and “Read ECU”
Get erase password,Erase/Renew ECU completed

Press Erase

Re-Install ME 2.8 ECU back to vehicle

Part 2: Adapt ME 2.8 on DAS diagnostic with Benz SDConnect C4

• C4 multiplexer with vehicle via OBD socket via LAN cable
• Turn on ignition switch
• Identify vehicle
• Select Control Unit Groups-Drive-ME2-SFI- Motor electronics-ME-SFI 2.8-Motor electronics 2.8-Control Unit adaptation-Learning processes
• Teach in of drive authorization system
• Enter VIN as 17-digit code
• Personalizing
• Switch off ignition and then switch on
• Start the engine
• Personalizing in process, wait about 30s
• Is this engine control module to remain fitted in the vehicle?
• Press Yes to continue
• The engine control module is irrevocably assigned to the vehicle.
• Do you wish to activate control module ME-SFI 2.8?
• Press Yes to continue
• Activating module in process
• The learning process has been performed.
• 
• The ME 2.8 ECU virgin ME adaption learning process is completed.
