It is designed to prevent regeneration of the old mileage state in vehicle dashboard (odometer). How it works on for BMW?

When you have to change the mileage for BMW for some reasons, after you have finished changing the mileage Numbers in the odometer, you can placed a CAN filter in the instrument cluster, or in the CAS, FEM, BDC, No need to modify any data in any other control units, when the car started, the CAN filter will block the mileage information in the ECU from exchanging with the instrument cluster, the mileage displayed in the odometer will be the new numbers your altered.

How it works on for Mercedes for Benz?

When you have to change the mileage for Mercedes-for Benz for some reasons, after you have finished changing the mileage Numbers in the odometer, connect a CAN filter between the dashboard and the plug of instrument cluster, No need to modify any data in any other control units, when the car started, the CAN filter will block the mileage information in the ECU from exchanging with the instrument cluster, the mileage displayed in the odometer will be the new numbers your altered.
