What’s the Tech2 CANdi Module?

CANdi is short name of CAN Diagnostic Interface module .An industry change in vehicle protocol from OBDII to CAN,example Corvettes 2005 and newer use this CAN Network.
In order to diagnostis on a GM vehicle that uses CAN protocol(Controller Area Network),You will need the GM Tech2 Scanner with CANdi Module.
Once the CANdi module is connected, it can be used on all GM vehicle applications, even those vehicles using other platforms such as OBD I and OBD II.

For confirm Your CANdi module is bad ,You can do a CANDI SELF-TEST first.

Tech2 CANdi Functions:

Support simultaneous communications on three CAN buses
Provides high speed UART communications with Tech 2 Diagnostis

When CANdi functioning properly ,the LED will flash green ,if it in the vent of a problem ,the LED usually yellow or not light.
