Description

CGDI ELV Emulator is used for w204 w207 and w212 vehicles when the OEM steering lock fails. You drill it and take it out, then replace it with this part directly and program it with the immobilizer data of the vehicle. It’s an excellent choice for customers when this happens, and it often does.

There have 3 versions EIS/ELV Emulator:CGDI ELV emulator,Xhorse ELV emulator and Xhorse Mini Emulator(sames functions but only 1/5 size ,smaller and cheaper).CGDI ELV Emulator Can Perfectly Substitutes for the Original ELV/ ESL, will not impact the appearance more table and safety.

Why we need the ELV Emulator ?

Most W204 W207 W212 will damage with EIS. There are two possible reasons and solution:

• Replace ESL motor when Motor damaged .
• Replace ESL with this Emulator when NEC chip is locked .

open VVDI MB TOOL or CGDI MB Prog software ,Click “Check ESL damage” .

1. Then if it display “ESL is working” that means You just need replace a new ESL motor
2. If it display “ESL is damaged” that means You will need replace ESL with this ELV /EIS Emulator .

How to use CGDI ELV Emulator /ESL Emulator?

• Step 1:Erase EIS, then re-write EIS and personalize ESL, finally ESL is synchronized. Now the EIS is full new
  Note: if you not erase ESL at first, but only personalize ESL, the ESL won’t be synchronized.
  To erase EIS, both Key password and Erase password are required.
• Step 2:Load EIS data,Tick “IR” to write EIS data and “OBD” to write VIN.
• Step 3:Click “Personalize W204 ESL”
• Step 4:Now, the options “Initialized”, “TP Cleared” and “Personalized” are ticked, except “Activated”
  Insert the original car key then EIS and ESL is in “Activated” status.
  Finally renew ESL with success.
